Management fee accrued by one side only

The parent accrues a quarterly management fee monthly; the subsidiary books it only when the invoice arrives in the third month.

What the agent does

  1. Read the fee basis and frequency in the intercompany agreement
  2. Compute the monthly accrual the subsidiary should carry
  3. Flag the mismatch as policy-driven and recurring; propose the standing accrual entry

What you get back

A recurring-item note: 'policy mismatch — parent accrues monthly, sub books on invoice' with the standing entry to align the two.

Boundaries

Changing a subsidiary's accrual policy is a controller decision; the agent documents the difference and proposes the entry.
