Group finance

The analyst who owns the intercompany elimination

You consolidate 8–40 entities. The elimination should net to zero and never quite does; finding the residual is your month-end.

The residual

Every group finance analyst knows the number: the amount the elimination is off by after everyone says they have reconciled. TieOut Pilot decomposes it — unreconciled pairs, FX at different rates, items explained but not yet booked — so the residual becomes a list of named causes rather than a plug.

Policy enforcement without policing

The FX policy rate, the tolerance thresholds and the allocation keys live in the workspace. Entities that depart from them show up as explained differences with the policy cited, which is a more persuasive email than "please follow the policy".

Consolidation output

The elimination schedule exports in the shape your consolidation tool imports, with each line traceable to pair-level evidence.
